Annual Meeting - Proposed Changes

CONSTITUTION
ARTICLE V
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Section 1. The Board of Directors shall consist of the officers of the Association as listed above plus the Governor of each District, the Image Salon Chairman, the Web Master, the Social Media Manager, and the Event Coordinator, all in
good standing of this Association. (added these two positions)
ARTICLE VII
ETHICS COMMITTEE
Section 4. The Ethics Committee will be charged with reviewing and enforcing the Code of Conduct of the Association and with hearing any complaints brought to its attention. (Changed Code of Ethics to Code of Conduct)
BY-LAWS
ARTICLE I
MEMBERSHIP
Section 1. Application for Membership:
c. Applicants for membership shall submit a written petition on the authorized form and all support material requested by the Association.
c. Applicants for membership shall follow the application guidelines determined by the Board of Directors and as outlined in the Policy Manual.
Section 2. All dues, at the rates determined by the Board of Directors shall be payable in advance for one year at the beginning of the fiscal year.
All dues structures, rates and payment options shall be determined by the Board of Directors. Any dues paid are non-fundable.
ARTICLE II
NOMINATION AND ELECTION OF OFFICERS
Section 4. All Officers and Board members shall assume the duties of their respective offices at the Board Meeting held in conjunction with the start of the fiscal year.
All Officers and Board members shall assume the duties of their respective offices at the conclusion of old business at the November Transition Board Meeting.
Section 5. District Officers shall be elected in the manner set forth by the District and will assume the duties of their respective office to coincide with November Transition Board Meeting.

ARTICLE VI
DUES
Section 3. All fees shall be due and payable at the beginning of the fiscal year for one year in advance.
All dues shall be paid as outlined by the Board of Directors in the Policy Manual.
Section 4. Only members in good standing and current on dues shall be eligible for election or appointment to any office or committee, for the sponsorship of new members and for entering prints in competition. Good standing shall be
defined as having paid dues in accordance with Sections 1, 2 and 3 above. (redundant statement)
ARTICLE VII
DEGREES AND CREDITS
Section 2. All degree eligibility and requirements will be determined by the Board of Directors and outlined in the Policy Manual.
ARTICLE VIII
VOTING PRIVILEGES
Only Active, Additional Active, Professional, Professional PPA, Non-Resident Professional, Non-Resident Professional PPA, Retired and Life Members of the Association shall have the privilege of voting. However all other members shall have the right to discuss and to make recommendations. (Update current Membership Levels)
